NEW TRENDS IN SENSORY EVALUATION OF FOOD AND NON-FOOD PRODUCTS

Dear Colleagues,

The organizers of the international Summer Program in Sensory Evaluation 2007(SPISE2007) has a great honor to welcome sensory scientists to the NEW TRENDS IN SENSORY EVALUATION OF FOOD AND NON-FOOD PRODUCTS symposium. This meeting will offer the opportunity to present up-to-date information in sensory evaluation of food and non-food products and to exchange ideas amongst academic and industrial sensory scientists.

From 2005, the "SPISE Symposium" is become an important scientific meeting for the disciplines of consumer and sensory sciences. Our organizing team will ensure that delegates can look forward to a high quality scientific program. We plan to continue the successful program features of the past meeting with an opening reception that showcases our local roots, concurrent sessions allowing for a variety of oral and poster presentations covering a wide scope of new ideas related to sensory science, a banquet with Vietnamese flavor, and many occasions to visit with old friends and meet new colleagues.

We are pleased to announce the following keynote speakers who will present at the Symposium: Professor Herv Abdi, University of Texas at Dallas, USA and Dr David Cox, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia.

We will be delighted to welcome you and the expected 200 delegates to HoChiMinh city in July 2007. HoChiMinh city, described as the "Pearl of Far East", is a beautiful and livable city beside the Saigon River. The conference will be held in the center of HoChiMinh city, close to a wide variety of entertainment, restaurants, parks, walking paths and shopping. We are confident that HoChiMinh city will provide a memorable venue.
